This is just a small game I worked on in 2009 for a college project with one other person. It was our first attempt at making a game so not much of it works really.
We wanted to create a bullet hell shooter like DoDonPachi (怒首領蜂) . In the end we got one whole level working, with scrolling backgrounds and different types of enemy. Becuase the enemies were incredibly accurate it made the game very difficult.
It is definitely the type of game I want to make again sometime! Here are some images from the game.
This is a game I worked on in 2011 for a college project. I worked on it with 2 other people. My role on the team was Game Design/Programmer/AI.
The game is supposed to be a pseudo simulation of life 5000 years ago at the newgrange site located in Co.Meath in Ireland.
You play as someone living there at the time, you can walk around and explore the world and there are some simple tasks to complete such as finding lost items, moving items and competing in a race!
I will write more here with more details sometime in the future.
This is a game I worked on in 2010 for a college project. There was a team of 4 who created this game. My role on the team was Game Designer/Programmer.
The object of the game is to use the numbers on the board to get to a given target using simple maths operations such as +, - , * and /.
The game was intended for children between the ages or 5 and 12 with the numbers becoming bigger and more complicated depending on the age or maths ability of the child. We wanted it to be fast paced and fun so there were several power ups and traps available such as speed boosts, one that mixes up numbers and one that makes blocks falls making the board more difficult to traverse. There were more we intended to get in like bombs and one to make your opponent freeze but we ran out of time on it.
